State what each visit includes
List tasks and service boundaries by location. For pool maintenance, clarify cleaning, testing and chemicals. For landscaping, specify mowing, trimming and debris removal. For HVAC, identify inspection items rather than suggesting full repairs are included. Define consumables, replacement parts, weather delays and emergency call-outs separately.
Make the billing frequency unambiguous
State the service period, fee for each period, invoice timing and what happens if a visit is missed. Record additional work only after customer authorization. If payments will be recurring, describe that plan separately from an authorization to charge a card; agreeing to service alone is not consent to automatic payments.
Explain renewal, pauses and cancellations
Provide a usable contact method and notice period for cancellations, where permitted. Identify minimum terms, any automatic renewal and legally required notices. Address access failures, seasonal pauses and price revisions without removing mandatory customer cancellation rights.
